IAG hosted a series of 10 Create Retirement seminars as a component of their Diversity program. All employees over 50 were invited to attend. Close to 300 people enrolled in the seminars and at the end of the year they were all invited to respond to a survey. 133 people responded and key results included;

• Participants considered the most beneficial elements of the seminar to be finance and super, flexible work options and the opportunity to set life goals and plan
• 79% of respondents shared what they learnt at the seminar with their partner (or other people that their retirement would impact)
• 25% of respondents had since opted for phased retirement options, and 8% had deferred retirement to a later date
• 90% of respondents indicated they would recommend the seminars to colleagues, which is a great result! Many had also shared what they learnt with their colleagues.
