We are proud to see some of our Sageco clients on the WGEA Employers of Choice list released today. These organisations have made a conscious choice to apply for the citation – unlike the compulsory annual WGEA report. We know they have invested substantial time and resources in developing and implementing the strategies, policies and processes to meet the citation criteria.

In our work with mature age and career transition, Sageco looks through the gender lens to ensure inclusivity.
- We will always ask the question – are your gender equality strategies inclusive of women over 50? One of the great resources that we contributed to is the Older Women Matter research project with Diversity Council of Australia. This report provides a pragmatic, tangible framework for action for making older women matter in your organisation.
- And what particular support do women need in career planning and transition? How is your organisation supporting high potential women to balance work and life and make informed decisions about the future – given the pay and super gap, care giving responsibilities and specific health and well-being areas that pertain to females only. For example, as part of our career transition program, one of our most popular workshops is Understanding pay equity – attended by women and men.
We would love to have a conversation with you about strategies, policies and processes that address equality when it comes to career and mature age transition.
