The inaugural SageCo Award for Best Mature Age Workforce Strategy was presented in 2005 to Main Roads WA. Since that time annual recipients have included SunState Cement and Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care.

SageCo wins inaugural Thought Leadership Award

SageCo was honoured to receive the inaugural ipac Award for Outstanding Thought Leadership at a function at Establishment in Sydney in November 2005. Special guests at the event included Shane Gould, Sir Ian Sinclair and Professor Ronald Penny.

"In times of economic downturn," Jones says, "it is essential that companies take a long-term view, as business success is largely dependent on the ability of staff."

Less than half of finance and accounting companies, the survey found, are currently taking steps to prepare for the exodus of baby boomers, which will pose significant HR challenges to Australian companies in two or three years' time.
